I’ve decided that a comment is necessary. I have struggled my entire life accepting my skin color as beautiful. My entire family is darker than me. Almost all of my friends are lighter than me. To go everyday feeling like I do not belong kills me.
But seeing so many beautiful people proud of themselves is amazing. I am beautiful. I am not alone.
